Summer is already here and we have everything ready to welcome you to Villasol with our best smile. This year we want you to enjoy a vacation of a lifetime with your family and loved ones. For this, we have a fabulous entertainment team with countless proposals and activities waiting for you

And there is no doubt that our entertainment team is the heart of Villasol. Do you want to know more about it? Do you want to know what awaits you this summer? Keep reading and find out!

And there’s no better way to get to know the team and the summer activities than through its leader, Julio!  Here’s the interview we did with him.

Interview with Julio Darmandrail

How did you start in the world of entertainment?

Since I was a child I was really fond of dancing. In 1995 I started working in a Hotel in Argentina as a dancer in the entertainment department. During this time I was also teaching Jazz Dance and Tap Dance in several dance studios in my city.

It was in 2007 when a friend asked me to organize an innovated entertainment package for a campsite in Spain. I decided to accepted and that’s when I started my adventure in this beautiful country, which is now my home.

How is your day to day at Villasol?

I work very hard, but I love what I do! I like to surprise with something new, small or big and always with a smile.  I consider myself a well-organized person, but I also leave room for improvisation. Surprising is always positive.

What are your favorite entertainment activities?

I would say all the activities related to dancing. The Villasol team has specialized dancers in urban, contemporary and modern styles. Aquagym classes, Villasol dance… and the night shows where we have a very special connection with the guests.

Which activities are we going to see over the summer?

This summer we will have new songs and choreographies for the pool, mindfulness classes for the little ones, new and hilarious games, gymkanas with all the entertainers, night swimming, mini disco, a special sport program… and much more.

What about the team? What can you tell us about them?

We are multifaceted, close and direct. We can’t stay still and we are always ready to surprise with new activities and initiatives. What we like most is to bring a smile to you and your family!

Can you tell us a little bit about the new summer shows?

This summer we are going to present two new shows, one for children and one focused on the whole family: Toy Story and Queen.

The Toy Story Show is a pending debt with one of the entertainers, Carlos, who was born watching all its movies. And we want to take advantage of this summer’s release of #4 surprising everyone with a fun and original choreography. This show premieres on July 5th.

The second one, the Dancing Queen Tribute Show, is a humble and respectful tribute to a great musician. We hope everyone enjoys it! This show could grow in the future, but we will leave that to the audience… Queen’s show will premiere on July 12th.
