The island of Benidorm is a sort of extension of the Sierra Helada Natural Park and is a little paradise in itself. A boat trip to the island will be the best adventure for your children. Another plan you can make with children in Benidorm is an excursion to the Sierra Helada, we recommend that it is early morning or late afternoon if it is hot. You can reach the “Faro del Albir” and see the famous Peñón de Ifach. There are some cliffs, but the area is not dangerous if you do the tour taking the basic precautions.

It starts at the top of the town, right next to the Plaza de Toros, and ends almost at the beach, at the doors of the Town Hall. It was designed by the well known architect Ricardo Bofill in the nineties and in addition to the Town Hall, it houses the Julio Iglesias Auditorium, a tribute to this international artist.
In the park you can enjoy an afternoon of relaxation in the open air, games or even a family picnic. It has children’s play areas, large green spaces, tables, etc.

The first one is Sant Jaume, from where you can see both the Levante Beach and the Sierra Helada, you can reach this area from the Calle Mayor.
